Welcome to this site - the first collection of my songs, published all together, complete with fully notated piano parts, lyric sheets, backing tracks and rehearsal tips.
Those of you that have met me before and know the way that I usually work may be surprised to see these songs written down at all! Normally I teach these songs entirely by ear - the words, the melodies and the harmonies – but you have them here at last, notated in their complete form.
The subject matter of my songs usually deals with ‘issues’ relevant to all groups of people - issues of our time… Immigration, Hunger, Climate change and so forth.
Enjoy!

The quality of Pete's writing is in our opinion, matchless.
His music and lyrics are superb, brilliantly constructed, often challenging (he never shies away from difficult subjects) but always highly achievable.
Soo Bishop, Merton Music Foundation, London, UK
Pete's compositions are not just wonderfully constructed choral pieces but they all have a strong message that captivates both singers and listeners.
I warmly recommend Pete’s music to choirs that wish to enrich their repertoire with beautiful new compositions of great artistic merit!
